TECNALIA
TECNALIA RESEARCH & INNOVATION (TECNALIA) is the leading private and independent research and technology entity in Spain and the fifth largest in Europe. TECNALIA employs 1,445 people (164 PhDs) and has a turnover of 125 M€. It has 53 patents filed, participates in 31 technological companies and almost 200 firms and institutions participate as collaborating partners.
ICT-European Software Institute es a División of TECNALIA in charge of this project. European Software Institute was created in 1993 launched as an initiative of the European Commission, with the support of the Basque Government and leading European companies working in the Information Technology field.
Its objective is based on helping the software industry in increasing their competitiveness through knowledge, innovation, continuous improvement and promotion of information technologies.
